Série de shows passa por Estados Unidos, Europa e Japão após retorno ao Coachella
O The Strokes, que fez seu primeiro show no Coachella no último sábado (11) após 15 anos sem se apresentar no festival, acaba de anunciar em suas redes oficiais que fará uma turnê mundial durante 2026 que irá passar pelo Estados Unidos, Europa e Japão.
O grupo também lançou recentemente o single “Going Shopping” e confirmou o álbum “Reality Awaits”, com lançamento marcado para 26 de junho. O trabalho chega seis anos após o aclamado “The New Abnormal”.
A turnê terá artistas de abertura em datas selecionadas, com participações que incluem Thundercat, Hamilton Leithauser, Cage The Elephant, Fat White Family, Alex Cameron e ÖLÜM.
Na América do Norte, o cadastro para a pré-venda vai até terça-feira, 14 de abril, às 10h (horário de Brasília). As pré-vendas começam na quarta-feira, 15 de abril, e a venda geral será aberta na sexta-feira, 17 de abril. Os ingressos poderão ser adquiridos pela plataforma da Ticketmaster.
O jornalista José Norberto Flesch afirmou que a banda deve passar pelo Brasil ainda este ano, com expectativa que a apresentação ocorra durante o Primavera Sound São Paulo.
