A sold-out night in Camden highlights the band’s growing international presence, turning the show into a celebration of Brazilian music and global fan connection
It was a full house for Lagum in Camden. The band from Minas Gerais performed this Sunday (12) at the Jazz Cafe, one of the most traditional venues on London’s alternative scene, as part of another European run of their tour for the album “As Cores, as Curvas e as Dores do Mundo”.

This marks the group’s fifth time on the continent, and on this occasion the tour has expanded even further, with new stops in countries such as France and Germany. In an interview with Vou de Grade, the members highlighted this steady growth, reinforcing that the band’s international presence continues to expand and is becoming increasingly well established.
During the interview, they spoke about their current moment as a band, the behind the scenes of the tour, and what lies ahead on the road. When discussing what is coming next, they hinted: “Isso ainda não é uma turnê… Sim, nós temos planos”, suggesting that a new phase is already taking shape.
According to them, the idea goes beyond a live performance and becomes a celebration of Brazilian music, especially for those living abroad who feel homesick, but also for anyone who connects with the band’s sound regardless of language.
And that intention was clear at the Jazz Cafe.
With consistent energy from start to finish, Lagum delivered yet another performance marked by lightness, charisma and closeness with the audience, qualities that have become the band’s signature. The crowd reflected this meeting point, with many Brazilians singing along to every lyric, as well as international fans who, even without understanding the language, were carried along by the atmosphere of the show.

The setlist balanced different moments of the band’s career, featuring classics such as “Oi”, “Telefone” and “Ninguém Me Ensinou”, while also making room for standout performances of more recent tracks like “A Cidade”, “As Desvantagens de Amar Alguém Que Mora Longe” and “Dançando no Escuro”, showcasing the strength of the band’s current repertoire live.

Between well known songs and moments of interaction with the audience, the mood was one of celebration, not only of the music, but also of the connection the band has built throughout their time in Europe.
Attending the show also took on a special meaning within this experience. The performance coincided with my birthday, making the night even more memorable. Among a diverse crowd and thousands of miles from home, the feeling was exactly what the band itself describes: a little piece of Brazil abroad, capable of bringing people together and creating emotional memories through music.
As has become tradition, the group reaffirmed on stage their desire to return soon, ideally as early as next year. And, considering the warm reception of yet another night in London, expectations are that this reunion will indeed happen.
More than just a tour, Lagum shows that its presence in Europe is no longer occasional, but has become an essential part of its journey.
